New Post #43 Tuesday Newsday
The next big thing??

Hi Friends
What a performance from the ladies on Sunday.
Very impressive indeed, especially from one lady in particular,
Yes of course I’m talking about Lottie Woad.

The next big thing?
Lottie, who hails from Farnham golf club, looks like she could be the next golf phenom, in her last 3 starts on tour (two as an amateur and one as a newly turned professional) she has not been out the top 3 and has WON twice.
Her results are simply amazing,
KPMG Women’s Irish Open - WINNER! (as an amateur giving up the winners cheque of £68k)
The Amundi Evian Championship (Women’s major) 3rd place (again as an amateur this time giving up a cheque for £400k!!!)
The ISPS Women’s Scottish Open - WINNER (this time as a pro winning £255k)
I watched the final round on Sunday and she looked every inch the accomplished professional. She made winning look as easy as Scottie did at Portrush. That’s quite something for a 21 year old in her first professional tournament.
Talking of amateurs and major championships,
I have an interview incoming with another elite amateur golfer.
This player managed to get through qualifying and played at the recent Senior Open Championship.
The one played at Sunningdale and won by Padraig Harrington.

Still a big thing?

Look out for the interview coming to your inboxes very soon,
Ciao
